Enclomiphene

Also known as: Enclomiphene citrate · trans-clomiphene

What it is

The pure trans-isomer of clomiphene, a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM).

How it works

Antagonizes estrogen receptors at the hypothalamus and pituitary, disinhibiting GnRH release and thereby increasing LH, FSH, and endogenous testosterone production.

Where it's used

Investigated as a treatment for secondary hypogonadism in men who wish to preserve fertility. Frequently prescribed via compounding pharmacies.

Regulatory status

Not FDA-approved as a standalone drug; available through compounding pharmacies. Prior NDA was withdrawn.

Tracking it

Enclomiphene is oral, which makes consistency the whole game — a simple daily check-off with a reminder beats memory every time. with a half-life of about 10 days (240 h), a dose log also lets a tracker model the relative amount still in your system between doses.
